Where does Future ATI run?

Private AI can mean different things depending on size, sensitivity, and workload. Future ATI recommends based on your actual needs.

Four Deployment Archetypes

Future ATI does not force everyone into one expensive architecture.

WORKSTATION

USER
WORKSTATION
LOCAL MODEL + LOCAL INDEX
RESULTS

Use Cases

  • Individual professional
  • Small firm
  • Private research
  • One-person document analysis
  • Local testing

Simple, private, and customer-owned.

PRIVATE SERVER

EMPLOYEES
PRIVATE LAN
FM SERVER
LOCAL MODELS / INDEXES

Use Cases

  • Small or medium team
  • Shared document intelligence
  • Internal assistant
  • LAN access
  • Role-based permissions

Team collaboration on a controlled network.

DEDICATED INFRASTRUCTURE

USERS
API / PORTAL
MODEL POOL
RETRIEVAL / DATA
AUDIT / PERMISSIONS

Use Cases

  • High concurrency
  • Multiple departments
  • Stronger isolation
  • Larger models
  • Multiple workflows
  • Scheduled jobs

Scale without losing control.

Not required for every customer.

AIR-GAPPED

SECURE ENVIRONMENT
× INTERNET
FM LOCAL SYSTEM

Use Cases

  • Highly controlled environments
  • No external network access
  • Sensitive documents
  • Offline operation

No internet, no compromise.

Air-gapped systems require a planned process for updates, model packages, logs, and support.

Deployment Planning

Future ATI can recommend a deployment based on your requirements. Ask FM will explore these questions:

Ask FM Deployment Planner
How many users?
How many concurrent users?
How many documents?
What file types?
What model size?
Does internet access exist?
Any compliance/security constraints?
Do you already own hardware?

Based on your answers, Ask FM will provide:

  • Recommended deployment architecture
  • Expected constraints and trade-offs
  • Hardware specifications (if applicable)
  • Network requirements
  • Next steps and technical questions

This is an Ask FM conversation, not a real form. The planner adapts to your specific answers.

Customer-Owned Hardware

Future ATI supports multiple hardware ownership models:

Customer-Provided Machine

Bring your existing hardware and install FM on it.

FM-Recommended Spec

Ask FM recommends hardware that fits your workload. You procure and operate it.

Server Deployment

Deploy FM to a server in your data center or on your preferred cloud infrastructure.

Hardware is quoted separately — it is not assumed to be included in a FM license.

Updates and Maintenance

Even private deployments need robust update mechanisms:

Signed Updates

All FM releases are cryptographically signed and verified before deployment.

Model Manifests

Know exactly which models, versions, and checksums are deployed.

Version History

Full audit trail of FM versions and when they were deployed.

Rollback Path

If an update causes issues, roll back to the previous version safely.

Offline Update Procedure

For air-gapped systems, FM updates can be delivered offline and installed securely.

Air-gap does not mean "never maintain the system." You stay secure AND current.
